Our Time is Near....The Missions Clear

There are very few things in life that excite you like your first trip to Yankee Stadium or stepping on the ice at Maple Leaf Gardens. There are few moments that grip you and hold you tight like falling in love or holding a precious new life for the first time. The emotional roller coaster that i call life will once again be in action from March 6-8 in Hampton, Virginia as Phish takes to the stage once again to claim the throne that is rightfully theirs!

For those who don't understand the Phish obsession, it's on par with being an alcoholic or shopaholic in many ways - you just can't seem to get enough. It's the music that has become the theme for our lives in so many ways....and even goes as far as to define who we are deep down at our roots. It's been 5 yrs since our last journey with the band - times have changed for everyone - but with this new resurrection come those same child like feelings that one can't escape. It's more than being 33 and waking up Christmas morning, it's more that taking that same trip back to the ball park to see your favorite team. It's a part of the very fabric of your existence that you've woven like a tapestry your whole life. Music is a part of your soul that can be tapped into like no other. It's music that keeps you going at work some days, it's music that makes you laugh, cry or remember someone you once loved or still do dearly - music is the never ending background soundtrack to our lives...and once you surrender to that fact, the music gets that much better!!!

So i offer my fondest wishes to the boyz in the band - clearly the road travelled since we last convened was filled with speed bumps, hair pin turns...merge signs and a few accidents on the way. We're all a little wiser and responsible because of the road we've travelled - now if i can just manage to keep the tires of the line for one more go around - I think we'll be doin just fine!!!
